Mark Turnbull

Workshop Assistant

Mark Turnbull is a workshop assistant with Limelight Music and has been involved with the organisation for many years.

Mark’s passion has always been with music at a very young age and he began drumming in his teenage years. Aswell as working on many productions and projects with Limelight Music over the years in theatres such as Citizens Theatre and Tron Theatre, Mark decided to pursue a career within the music industry. He studied Sound Engineering, whilst leading drum classes in the East End of Glasgow and is now a professional musician playing with professional bands as a cover/session musician. Mark is the drummer for the Glasgow rock and roll band, The Pontangz. Mark works with many of our school projects by assisting with his percussion and guitar. Mark is also a qualified weightlifting athlete for Scotland and a part of Glasgow weightlifting club. He also has his own personal training business, Evolve Barbell Club.
